Position Objective:
The Accounting Manager leads and motivates accounting staff members and increases department accuracy and efficiency to deliver on contractual obligations. The Accounting Manager will delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting division tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information of our client; hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
The Accounting Manager is analytical, detail-oriented, and honest. The Accounting Manager should possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting and management principles. The Accounting Manager views high touch communication, client satisfaction, financial accuracy, and accountability as integrated and non-negotiable tools in the path for success as they develop systems to enhance the current and future financial goals and financial health of each community in the Roost portfolio.
